Agneda Farm is a family-owned and operated livestock and wine farm with organic certification. The following are produced here: organic raw milk cheeses from cow's and goat's milk, Dos Salat nebbiolo wine, organic beef and cured meats.
At the farm in Sondrio, it is possible to meet the animals, visit the winery, have a tasting of organic cheese and Dos Salat nebbiolo wine, and buy products directly from the farm store. During the summer months, it is possible to visit the pasture to learn about the life of high mountain pastoralists. The animals graze in meadows adjacent to the farm in Sondrio, in maggengo and in alpine pastures. Herding follows the altitude and development of the pasture: starting from the valley floor at m. 300, in spring the animals graze in a maggengo at m. 1200 until they arrive in June at the Acquanera pasture, an organically certified pasture in Valmalenco, at m. 211.
